Dorothy C. Bass

Dorothy C. BassDorothy C. Bass has worked with an ecumenical and interracial group of authors to develop Practicing Our Faith: A Way of Life for a Searching People. Bass is director of the Valparaiso Project on the Education and Formation of People in Faith, a Lilly Endowment project based at Valparaiso University. She serves on the board of directors of the Louisville Institute, a Lilly Endowment program for the study of American religion, based at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. A graduate of Wellesley College, Union Theological Seminary in New York City, and Brown University, she has taught at several colleges and theological schools. She is a minister in the United Church of Christ.(Bio dated 2000)
